Milan and Premier League side Chelsea have confirmed that they will meet at Stamford Bridge for a pre-season friendly in the build-up to the start of the 2025-26 Serie A season.

Milan add Chelsea to pre-season schedule

Milan will travel to London to take on Enzo Maresca’s side at Stamford Bridge on Sunday, August 10, two weeks before the start of the 2025-26 league season in Italy.

This is the fifth pre-season friendly on Milan’s summer schedule. The Rossoneri will also take on Premier League giants Arsenal and Liverpool in Singapore and Hong Kong respectively, before taking on Perth Glory in Western Australia as part of the club’s Asia-Pacific tour.

The Rossoneri will also take on Leeds United in a pre-season friendly at Aviva Stadium in Dublin on Saturday, August 9, the day before they are due to take on Chelsea in London.

“This consecutive weekend of top-level opposition will give coach Allegri’s squad an excellent test before the start of the 2025/26 season,” a statement on the club website read.

This will be the first time the two clubs have met since the group stage of the 2022-23 Champions League. Chelsea won both of their group stage matches against the Rossoneri on those occasions: 3-0 at Stamford Bridge and 2-0 in San Siro.

Details regarding ticketing for the pre-season friendly at Stamford Bridge will be released in due course.
