Rafael Leao returned to group training with Milan this morning and is expected to be available for Sunday’s Serie A match against Napoli.

Milan star Leao returned to group training this morning and is expected to be available for the upcoming Serie A match against Napoli at San Siro, as reported by several Italian sources, including TMW.

Milan receive Leao injury boost

Leao has been out of action since August 17, when he suffered a calf injury in a Coppa Italia match against Bari.

The Portuguese winger hasn’t featured in any Serie A match with Milan so far.

Milan will host Serie A leaders Napoli in the next league game on Sunday, September 28.

Buongiorno to miss Milan vs. Napoli

The Partenopei will surely be without their star defender, Alessandro Buongiorno, who suffered an adductor injury during the latest Serie A match against Pisa.

Only three points divide Milan and Napoli in the Serie A table, as Napoli have won four games from four, while the Rossoneri have collected three victories and one defeat.
