Transfer expert Matteo Moretto reports that Milan have opened preliminary talks with Brighton & Hove Albion over Pervis Estupiñán.
Direct club-to-club contacts between Milan and Brighton over a possible Estupiñán transfer to San Siro have recently begun, according to Italian transfer expert Matteo Moretto.
The Serie A side sounded out the defender’s availability, so negotiations between the two sides are not at an advanced stage.
Milan wanted to know the conditions of a possible transfer for the 27-year-old, a regular starter at Brighton.
Estupiñán has provided 11 assists in 84 Premier League matches and previously played for Villarreal.
Milan are on the market for a new left-back, having sent Theo Hernandez to Al-Hilal for circa €25m.
The Rossoneri have also sold Tijjani Reijnders to Manchester City and have welcomed Samuele Ricci and Luka Modric.
The Rossoneri have begun pre-season preparations in Milanello and will meet Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool in pre-season friendlies this summer.
