Milan are trying to give Max Allegri reinforcements, but Adrien Rabiot wants to stay at Olympique Marseille, while Dusan Vlahovic and Oleksandr Zinchenko salaries are a problem.

The coach has taken a year off after the tempestuous end to his Juve experience and is back on the bench next season at San Siro.

Milan targets too costly

According to Sky Sport Italia transfer pundit Gianluca Di Marzio, Allegri wants to reunite with Rabiot, but that will be practically impossible.

This is because Olympique Marseille do not want to sell, but the player also is comfortable at his current club and has no real intention of leaving already.

When it comes to the strikers, Vlahovic remains the first choice, though here too there are bound to be some major problems.

That is caused by his salary, which is also the main reason why Juventus are trying to sell this summer rather than renew the contract that expires in June 2026.

An alternative to Vlahovic for that role would be Atalanta hitman and Serie A Capocannoniere Mateo Retegui.

As for the left-back with Theo Hernandez on the way out, there have been suggestions from multiple sources that intermediaries proposed Zinchenko to Milan.

However, here too the wages he is currently earning at Arsenal are considered outlandish for the Rossoneri, who failed to qualify for Europe and therefore took a hit to their revenue.
