Milan have completed the signing of highly-rated 19-year-old defender David Odogu from Bundesliga side Wolfsburg, in a deal worth a reported €7 million plus €3 million in bonuses.
The Rossoneri registered the player’s contract with the league, as per Serie A’s official website, making the teenagers move to Lombardy official.
The 19-year-old centre-back was part of the Germany U17 side that won both the U17 Euros and U17 World Cup in 2023.
Odogu has only made three appearances for the Wolfsburg first team but the defender, who is capable at both left and right centre-back, is highly rated for his age and represents another signing in keeping with the Rossoneri’s new transfer strategy of primarily signing players for the future.
Odogu joins the likes of Ardon Jashari , Koni De Winter, Zachary Athekame and Samuele Ricci as some of the Under-25 players that new sporting director Igli Tare has provided Massimiliano Allegri with this summer.
