MLS releases 2025 schedule: Chicago Fire start & conclude the season away from home

The 2025 MLS schedule was finally released, and the Chicago Fire will begin their campaign in Columbus, Ohio. They will take on the Crew on February 22 and then host D.C. United at Soldier Field on March 1.

Chicago will host Inter Miami on April 13, with an afternoon kickoff scheduled at Soldier Field. The Fire have yet to compete against Lionel Messi since he joined MLS. Expansion side San Diego FC will come to Chicago on July 12.

LAFC will finally come to Soldier Field on August 9 before the Fire host St. Louis City for the second time in the league on August 16.

Their regular season will conclude in Foxborough on Decision Day when they take on the New England Revolution.

The Leagues Cup will be played between July 29 and August 31 and will not interrupt the MLS and Liga MX seasons.
