AC Milan has had a great start to the new season, and many USMNT fans are happy to see the start of Christian Pulisic's season. The American star started the season on fire with AC Milan after scoring important goals that put Milan in the top positions of the Serie A.

Pulisic has scored four goals and provided two assists in six Serie A matches with AC Milan. After two international breaks, Pulisic is not only the top goalscorer of AC Milan but the top goalscorer of the Serie A.

The USMNT star is backing his decision to miss the Gold Cup this summer to improve himself despite receiving multiple criticisms from fans and former players. Pulisic's start with AC Milan is now exciting fans with what he is capable of.

Milan are third in the Serie A table with 13 points after six matches played. Their record is four wins, one draw, and one loss.

Their recent match was a 0-0 draw against Juventus at Allianz Stadium. Another player that impressed for AC Milan so far is the legendary midfielder Luka Modric, who, at 40 years old, remains an elite midfielder in Europe.

Modric and Pulisic are in early contention to be the player of the season for AC Milan, and the Croatian midfielder believes that Pulisic has an exciting future. Modric says that Pulisic's "potential is huge."

Modric's Praise for Christian Pulisic

Modric spoke highly about Christian Pulisic after spending a few months with the American forward at AC Milan.

Modric's praise for Pulisic calls back to when the American star was at his previous clubs at Borussia Dortmund and Chelsea.

Modric compliments Pulisic by saying, "Christian is a great guy, first of all. As a football player, his potential is huge. He demonstrated for such a long period already, like in Dortmund, after in Chelsea, now he’s doing it well in Milan."

The Croatian midfielder describes some of Pulisic's traits that impress him the most. Modric said, "He’s very skillful, quick, understands football well, and it’s a joy to play with him.”
