Fiorentina striker Moise Kean has revealed that he is recording a record with the AC Milan winger Rafael Leao, who is his close friend off the pitch.

Leao is obviously best known for his exploits on the field as an AC Milan player, but away from the pitch he is building on his rap career under the pseudonym ‘Way45’. His uncle was a DJ and his father did some singing, so he grew up surrounded by music.

Kean spoke about the bond that he has with Leao during today’s edition of Sportweek, the magazine that is part of La Gazzetta dello Sport, and his comments were relayed by Radio Rossonera.

“I like to be described as a ‘trap boy’. Trap means trap, it’s a style of rap music that’s trendy, it’s a particular music. If you listen to a trap song, you get caught in the beat and that beat makes you stay trapped,” he said.

“Rafa Leao is a friend, a golden boy. I met him many years ago playing against him in the national team and since then we have maintained a very close bond. The connection I have with him and McKennie is like no other in football.
