AC Milan want to keep Alex Jimenez for the next few seasons at least, and they are planning talks with Real Madrid regarding his situation.
Jimenez has been a permanent member of the first team squad since the end of 2024 having begun the season with Milan Futuro. Both the head coaches – Paulo Fonseca and Sergio Conceicao – have seen the talent that he possesses, as well as the versatility.
As MilanNews report, the issue for Milan is that he is always under the observation of Real Madrid, the team he signed from in 2023 on an initial loan that was then made permanent last summer. Los Blancos boast two buy-back clauses: one in the summer of 2025 and one in the summer of 2026.
However, Milan do not want to lose the player and are even considering a renewal with a pay rise for the 19-year-old defender. Matteo Moretto, a journalist for Relevo, spoke in a video on Fabrizio Romano’s YouTube channel.
“The one I believe will stay at Milan in the next few years is Alex Jimenez, a talent born in 2005 , who was one step away from going to Monza on loan,” he began.
