Yunus Musah has been linked with Napoli, Nottingham Forest and now Atalanta, with Milan still asking for over €25m to sell the midfielder.
The USMNT player is in an odd position this summer, as he is by no means a first choice with the arrival of Luka Modric, Ardon Jashari and Samuele Ricci, but the Ros soneri also put a high price tag on his head.
This has seen Napoli first and then Nottingham Forest make proposals that were rejected, those clubs backing off from any further negotiations.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the latest club ready to ask for Musah is Atalanta, who face a similar problem in terms of the asking price.
It will take over €25m to get an agreement over the line, as well as working out personal terms with the player.
Atalanta took a while to get going this summer under new coach Ivan Juric, but are now pulling out all the stops with the arrival of Nicola Zalewski from Inter and Lecce striker Nikola Krstovic.
Max Allegri is not against the idea of keeping Musah at Milan, so it remains to be seen if the offer is convincing for all concerned.
