Lautaro Martinez and Antonio Conte engaged in a heated discussion during Saturday’s Serie A match between Napoli and Inter Milan.

According to DAZN via FCInter1908, the argument was anything but pleasant, with some swear words exchanged near the touchline.

Despite playing under Antonio Conte for two years, El Toro lost his temper following the Italian’s attempt to provoke Denzel Dumfries.

Indeed, the 56-year-old accused the Dutch wingback of diving, prompting an immediate response from Lautaro Martinez.

What Lautaro Martinez Said to Antonio Conte During Napoli 3-1 Inter Milan

Lautaro pulled Dumfries away, only to confront Conte himself, asking the Napoli boss: “What the f*** do you want?”

Furthermore, the situation escalated as the experienced coach laughed in Lautaro’s face, further aggravating the Inter striker.

However, Nicolo Barella and Juan Jesus intervened, dragging the Argentine away while reminding him of his captaincy.

Meanwhile, referee Maurizio Mariani showed Conte a yellow card, explaining, “Calm down for a moment.

“You left your technical area, and you’re a coach.”

Conte, then, replied: “And they’re players; they have to respect me.

“What about Lautaro? And Dumfries? He insulted me.”

It was yet another example of Conte’s mind games, as he aimed to get under the skin of his former players.

Unfortunately, Lautaro fell for Conte’s cheap trick in the heat of the moment.
