After missing out in the January transfer window, Napoli look to reignite their interest in PSV and Netherlands star Noa Lang – as Antonio Conte looks to build upon recent Scudetto success with a strong summer transfer window.

Lang was linked heavily with a switch to Naples in January after the departure of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to PSG but the clubs and player representatives failed to reach an agreement.

Now, the Corriere dello Sport, via TuttoMercatoWeb, are reporting that Napoli are once again beginning talks with the player’s entourage – before Napoli aim to tempt Eredivisie side PSV with a bid likely to be in the region of between €25 and €30 million.

However, Roberto de Zerbi’s Olympique Marseille are also hot on the tails of the former Club Brugge man and could aim to strike before Conte’s Napoli get the chance.

Napoli are reinforcing to match Conte’s ambition

Napoli could end up spending up to €180 million this summer in what could be their biggest even summer transfer window, as they look to satisfy manager Antonio Conte. Initially, it seemed unlikely that Conte would spend a second season in Naples but after the Scudetto success and various clubs pursuing other options, the former Juventus and Chelsea coach looks to stay.

The Neapolitan side have already added the likes of Manchester City icon Kevin De Bruyne to their ranks and have been linked with a whole host of additional reinforcements such as Atalanta’s Ademola Lookman and Liverpool’s Darwin Nuñez.
