Sky Sport Italia report that Napoli are keeping a close eye on Ajax midfielder Kenneth Taylor, who has been given a €30m price-tag.

The Partenopei have now won the Serie A title and consequently also qualified for the Champions League, so need to bolster a thin squad for next season.

According to transfer pundit Gianluca Di Marzio, their latest target is in the Netherlands, as Taylor has impressed at Ajax under coach Francesco Farioli.

He just turned 23 last week and has five senior caps for the Oranje.

Taylor a new target for Napoli midfield

Taylor scored 15 goals and provided eight assists for Ajax in 52 competitive appearances this season, having come up through their world famous youth academy.

His agents were spotted at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona on Friday to take in the Scudetto celebrations from their 2-0 win over Cagliari.

Napoli are certainly interested, but the €25-30m asking price could be a problem for the Serie A side.
