Lionel Messi and Neymar are one of the best partnerships in football history, according to many football fans. The two star players were teammates at two different clubs: FC Barcelona and PSG.
Messi and Neymar were teammates in 2023 at PSG, and fans of theirs constantly are hoping for the two to become teammates again, but now at Inter Miami in the MLS.
Neymar and his current club, Santos FC in Brazil, have shared gifts for Messi and his sons by sending them signed 'Neymar' jerseys. Santos FC posted the viral image of Messi and his sons holding the signed Neymar jerseys.

Santos FC's post read, "From Neymar Jr to Lionel Messi. From the Prince to the Genius. The Sacred Jersey, of immeasurable value, with the number eternalized by the King. 10 of Neymar. 10 of Messi. 10 of Pelé. An infinite legacy in the history of football. Greetings from Vila Belmiro, Lionel Messi!"
Neymar reposted Santos FC's Instagram post on his Instagram story to confirm that he did sign the jerseys for Messi and his family.
With this new gesture, many fans believe that there is still a possibility that Neymar could join Inter Miami to become teammates with Lionel Messi once again. This season seems impossible after Inter Miami has occupied all three Designated Player spots.
The three Designated Player spots belong to Lionel Messi, Rodrigo De Paul, and German Berterame.
Neymar extended his contract with Santos FC earlier this year, which will last until the end of 2026. The Brazilian star is focused on Santos FC with hopes of making the Brazilian national team squad for the 2026 World Cup.
