Hakan Calhanoglu will not swap Inter Milan for Galatasaray this summer after the clubs failed to find an agreement.
Per Sky Sport via FCInterNews, the Turkish megastar will remain at San Siro after another summer filled with wild rumors.
Despite Galatasaray’s great desire, Hakan Calhanoglu won’t leave Serie A.
Indeed, the San Siro giants met their Rams Park counterparts earlier today in a crunch meeting.
However, Galatasaray’s offer didn’t meet Inter’s expectations.
Inter had slapped a €30 million price tag on the 31-year-old long before they agreed to meet Galatasaray.
Yet, the Turkish heavyweights never had any ambition to match that asking price.
Instead, they had hoped to capitalize on Calhanoglu’s alleged interest in joining the Istanbul side.
As such, despite setting the deadline until July 26, Inter can now rest easy.
Indeed, they can start making plans that will feature Calhanoglu.
Therefore, the former AC Milan star will be part of the team next season, handing new boss Cristian Chivu a massive boost.
