The first game of the Premier League matchday on Saturday is Nottingham Forest hosting Manchester City at The City Ground. Both teams are on opposite sides of the Premier League table.

Nottingham Forest is 17th in the league table with 18 points and has a record of five wins, three draws, and nine losses after 17 league matches played.

Manchester City is 2nd in the league with 37 points after 17 league matches played. Their record so far is 12 wins, one draw, and four losses.

Both teams played in the Premier League last weekend, with Forest playing away from home and Man City playing at the Etihad Stadium.

Forest lost 1-0 to Fulham through a penalty kick goal from Raul Jimenez. Man City defeated West Ham United 3-0 with a brace from Erling Haaland and a goal from Tijjani Reijnders.

The last time both teams faced off was on April 27, 2025, in the FA Cup Semi-final, where Man City won 2-0 at The City Ground with goals from Rico Lewis and Josko Gvardiol.

However, the last time both teams played each other in the Premier League, Nottingham Forest defeated Manchester City 1-0 at The City Ground with a goal from Callum Hudson-Odoi on March 8, 2025.
