Official – Andrea Colombo To Referee Juventus Vs Inter Milan Serie A Derby

Referee Andrea Colombo will be in charge of Saturday’s Serie A blockbuster clash between Juventus and Inter Milan.

As confirmed by Lega Serie A via FCInterNews, Paolo Mazzoleni will be on VAR duty for the match.

Inter take on Juventus in the latest edition of the iconic Derby d’Italia on Saturday. Indeed, the Nerazzurri head to the Allianz Stadium for their first away game of the season.

Last season was disappointing for Inter as they failed to win silverware despite being in contention for a treble in mid-April.

However, it’s a new dawn at Giuseppe Meazza as Cristian Chivu gears up for his first appearance in this fixture as manager.

The referee for Monday evening’s match will be Andrea Colombo.

Assisting Colombo in his duties will be Mateo Peretti and Giuseppe Perotti.

The fourth official, Kevin Bonacina, will oversee the match and correct any errors made by the on-pitch officials.

Assisting Paterna in his duties will be Rosario Abisso.

It’s fair to say that the refereeing controversy ruined Inter’s season in 2024/25.

Furthermore, former boss Simone Inzaghi was often vocal about his frustrations with inconsistent decisions.

Therefore, Inter will hope the spotlight remains on the action on the pitch rather than on refereeing mistakes.
