Como have confirmed the permanent signing of Celtic winger Nicolás Kühn.
“Como 1907 is pleased to confirm the signing of German winger Nicolás Kühn from Celtic FC with a contract until June 2029. The 25-year-old joins after a standout season in Scotland, with 21 goals and nine assists across all competitions,” the Serie A side said in a statement.
“Kühn developed through some of Europe’s top academies—St. Pauli, Hannover 96, RB Leipzig, Ajax and Bayern II—before making his mark at Rapid Vienna and then Celtic.”
Como coach Cesc Fàbregas said: “Nico is sharp, technical, and understands space really well. He brings creativity and intensity—qualities that fit exactly how we want to play. He’ll give us something different in Serie A.”
Kühn, 25, told Como’s official website: “I’m really excited to be here. I had a long chat with the coach and I can’t wait to get out on the pitch, familiarise myself with the stadium and play in front of our fans. The decision was easy: the project is ambitious, and I want to be part of it, doing my best to help the team grow and achieve increasingly important goals. The city is beautiful — a real film set! I’m happy to start this new adventure in such a beautiful place.”
It is understood that Como have paid nearly €20m to secure the winger’s signature.
Kühn scored 24 goals and provided 18 assists in 69 Celtic appearances.
A former U20 Germany international, Kühn joined Celtic from Rapid Wien for just €5.4m in the 2024 January transfer window.
Como have been very active in the summer transfer window so far, signing Jesus Rodriguez, Martin Baturina and Jayden Addai.
The Azzurri have also agreed to pay €13m to make Maxi Perrone’s loan move from Manchester City permanent with the Argentine expected to undergo his medical test in the coming days.
Como secured survival under Fabregas last season and were the highest spenders in Serie A in the 2025 winter transfer window.
Fabregas’ boys will make their 2025-26 Serie A debut against Maurizio Sarri’s Lazio at the Stadio Sinigaglia on August 24.
