Inter Milan have completed the signing of Croatian international midfielder Petar Sucic from Dinamo Zagreb.

The Nerazzurri officially announce the 22-year-old’s arrival. He will be available for the Nerazzurri squad starting with the FIFA Club World Cup this summer.

Inter have decided to make midfielder Petar Sucic their latest signing in midfield. Sucic has reportedly signed a 5 year contract with Inter.

The Croat plays in the holding midfield position.

Therefore, the Nerazzurri are signing Sucic as a potential long-term heir to Hakan Calhanoglu at the base of midfield.

Despite being just 22 years of age, Sucic has proven adept at playing the tactically demanding position.

Inter do not announce the fee that they’ve paid to Dinamo for Sucic. But reports indicate that they have paid an initial €14 million, with another €2.5 million or so in add-ons.

Inter Milan Sign Petar Sucic From Dinamo Zagreb

Petar Sucic is the younger cousin of current Real Sociedad midfielder Luka Sucic.

The 22-year-old is a full Croatian international. He won his first cap for the senior national team last autumn, and has made a total of five appearances.

Meanwhile, Sucic has made sixty appearances for Dinamo. He has scored five goals for the Croatian giants.

Sucic will stay at Dinamo for the remainder of the current season.

Then, at the end of the campaign the Croat will link up with the Inter squad.

Sucic will be available for the Club World Cup this summer. Then, he will be part of the squad for next season.

Sucic has played two seasons at Dinamo Zagreb. During that time he has featured 75 times across all competitions, scoring nine times in the process.

To date, Sucic has featured seven times for Croatia, scoring once.
