Milan and Juventus are on high alert after confirmation that Thomas Partey will leave Arsenal as a free agent, just five years after his €50m move.
It had already been reported that the negotiations for a new deal were falling apart several weeks ago and they made no progress, as confirmed by The Athletic.
It means his contract will expire tomorrow and the 32-year-old will be free to choose his next club.
Milan and Juventus had been linked with the Ghana international quite a few times in recent years and this is the best opportunity to pick him up for nothing.
Partey is still going to command a very high salary, but at least it can now be negotiated directly and without a transfer fee on top.
Fenerbahce are also known to be interested in swooping for the Atletico Madrid youth academy product, who made the transfer to Arsenal for a massive €50m in October 2020.
The midfielder made 52 competitive appearances for the Gunners this season, scoring four goals and providing three assists.
