West Ham star Mohammed Kudus wants to move to Tottenham in the summer

Tottenham need to act quick in the transfer market now if they want to get new players in before pre-season properly kicks off. The Lilywhites are looking to make changes to their attack for next season as Thomas Frank aims to compete hard in the Champions League. Not only that, but the North London club is also looking to bolster their squad depth to prevent an injury crisis at N17.

With games approaching thick and fast, Thomas Frank has a massive task on his hands to build on the Europa League success next season. The Danish tactician must also focus on finishing in the top half of the Premier League table, whilst aiming to close the gap on their rivals. To achieve that, Daniel Levy must act quick and focus on bringing in new attackers quickly.

Spurs have already missed out on a few of their intended targets in the summer. Brentford star Bryan Mbeumo and Crystal palace forward Eberechi Eze are the most notable names that the Lilywhites failed to sign despite the strong transfer links. The fans will hope that Daniel Levy learns from his mistakes and brings in a new player to bolster the forward line.

Tottenham favourites to secure a deal for West Ham star Mohammed Kudus

Tottenham are looking to bring in a new right-winger to compete with Brennan Johnson next season. The Welshman enjoyed a stellar individual campaign with the Lilywhites last season, ending as the club’s top-scorer in all competitions. However, Thomas Frank wants to keep Johnson on his toes and bring in a new player that could compete with the Spurs winger for a spot in the starting eleven.

It was reported earlier that Spurs were interested in signing West Ham star Mohammed Kudus. The Ghana international has quickly taken centre-stage at the London Stadium during his time with the Hammers, and there is no surprise that the Lilywhites are keen to land him at N17 in the summer. The aforementioned report also stated that Tottenham are confident of signing the 24-year-old for well below the £85m release clause price.

Now, Tottenham have received yet another update regarding the West Ham star’s future. As per David Ornstein (via X), Mohammed Kudus is prioritising a move to N17 in the summer and has also agreed personal terms despite the strong competition from other clubs for his signature. The journalist also adds that Spurs had a bid worth £50m turned down, but both clubs have started negotiating directly for the transfer to be sealed quickly.

Fans will be happy to know that the Ghana international is keen to join the club and make his mark at N17. The Lilywhites need to build a solid team for next season, and signing Kudus is a step in the right direction. The 24-year-old can also play as a number ten as well if the team needs him to, hence showcasing his versatility in full flow.
