In the post-match press conference, Pochettino was asked about Pulisic, who left the pitch in the 28th minute.

Pochettino said, "I think he feels something in his hamstring, but tomorrow he will fly to Italy. Tonight we will assess. We'll see. We cannot say nothing at the moment [how serious it is]."

Pulisic's hamstring injury could potentially rule him out for the upcoming AC Milan match against Fiorentina on Sunday in the Serie A.

Pochettino points out the different climates the players who play in Europe face when playing for the U.S. and believes it is challenging for his players.

Pochettino said, "When you are during ten days in training, between 30 to 35 degrees [Celsius], where it's really hot, and then you come to Denver, where the altitude [is high]and it's really cold... I think it's a massive risk. I don't want to say that Christian or Malik [Tillman] feel something because [match conditions]. I think it was really tough for the players to prepare [for] the game."
