Premier Sports Cup semi-final details confirmed, Celtic v Aberdeen first up

The two semi-finals will take place at the national stadium on over the weekend of Saturday 2 November and Sunday 3 November.

And with theRangers playing in the Europa League this season after failing in the Champions League qualifiers, they will be playing Thursday-Sunday football this autumn so inevitably have the Sunday tie in the League Cup semi-final against Motherwell.

That means that Celtic will take on Aberdeen on Saturday 2 November at Hampden with the game kicking off at 5.30pm. Hopefully all the graffiti will have been removed from Hampden as neither the Celtic nor the Aberdeen support has any time for the recent Hampden lodgers.

The second semi-final between Motherwell and theRangers has a 3pm kick-off on Sunday 3 November.

Both semi-finals will be broadcast live on Premier Sports and both will be played to a finish.

In the event of a draw after normal time, extra time of 30 minutes will be played. Thereafter, if necessary, a penalty shoot-out will determine the outcome.

The Premier Sports Cup final will take place on Sunday 15 December 2024 at Hampden Park.
