Rafael Leao has been linked with some of Europe’s top clubs as the winger considers his future at AC Milan this summer.
Leao made 29 appearances for Milan in Serie A last season, scoring nine times and providing three assists.
The 27-year-old is currently representing Portugal at the World Cup, too, with two goal contributions (one goal, one assist) during the tournament so far for his country.
His future at AC Milan appears to be over with him previously stating that he wants to leave the club this summer in the prospect of a new challenge.
Leao’s next club has not yet been revealed yet, however, as those across Europe, including Manchester United, battle for the winger’s services on either a temporary or permanent basis.
Italian outlet Gazzetta have now reported that Rafael Leao has been offered to Tottenham Hotspur although no official agreement has been reached yet.
The outlet have also revealed that Barcelona and Manchester United have not gone beyond initial inquiries whilst offers from the Saudi Pro League and Turkey are not attracting the winger.
Gazzetta have also reinforced a valuation between €60 and €70 million, stating that offers should not be below that, but have also revealed that AC Milan are open to alternative options, such as loan with an obligation to buy.
Leao has also not agreed personal terms with any club yet, a crucial part of any successful deal.
Manchester United now face a choice. With an agreement not yet reached, time remains for the club to move. Whether the Red Devils decide to do so will likely come down to those at the top of the recruitment hierarchy.
If United do not make a move it is likely that another club will make a move, whether that falls in a permanent or loan context.
