Giacomo Raspadori was one of the Italy goalscorers in a 5-0 win over Estonia on Friday, overtaking Azzurri legend Francesco Totti.
Atletico Madrid star Raspadori now has more international goals than Francesco Totti as the ex- Napoli forward found the net in Italy’s 5-0 win over Estonia on Friday.
The 25-year-old was introduced from the bench in the second half, grabbing a goal and one assist in just four minutes.
He also provided a second assist for Alessandro Bastoni in the dying minutes.
Raspadori has now scored 10 goals for Italy national team, one more than Francesco Totti, a 2006 World Cup winner.
Raspadori has collected 41 appearances for Italy national team, making his debut in April 2021.
On the other hand, Totti made his senior Italy debut in 1998 and played 58 games with the Azzurri.
Luigi Riva remains the best Italy goalscorer with 35 goals in 42 matches, followed by Giuseppe Meazza (33 goals) and Silvio Piola (30 goals). Roberto Baggio and Alessandro Del Piero complete the top five with 27 goals each.
