Real Madrid Get Blunt Luis Enrique Message After Latest Loss

Enrique, as the manager of Real Madrid, could be the ideal solution to replace Xabi Alonso and revive the Casa Blanca. That’s the view of Marca journalist Matías Prats.

“[Enrique] is the only one capable of convincing these players that they need to run, press together, and put the team before individual interests,” Prats said (h/t Le10Sport).

But is it really possible for Luis Enrique to take the Real Madrid bench Prats is realistic about a potential move for the PSG coach.

PSG have Enrique tied down until 2027, so it’s unlikely he’ll leave the French capital before then. Moreover, the Ligue 1 club have given him free rein, along with sporting advisor Luis Campos, to build the team how they see fit.

Enrique has already had Kylian Mbappé and other superstar players, and it doesn’t seem that’s the path he wants to go down again. As a result, while the PSG manager might arguably be the best Spanish manager at the club level, it doesn’t seem he’ll be returning to Spain in the near future.
