Real Madrid set price tag for Manchester United-linked midfielder

Between now and the end of the 2025/26 campaign, there is one objective that is on Michael Carrick’s mind: finish the season with Champions League football guaranteed.

Camavinga, still just 23 years of age, has played 213 times since his high-profile move from Stade Rennais in 2021.

But the 15-time winners of the Champions League are reportedly prepared to green light his departure in the summer.

That said, they’ve set a price tag of north of £50 million with Marca have suggested that anything less will not be listened to.

No longer high up on the pecking order in the Spanish capital, the combative midfielder has started just 17 matches for his employers in La Liga and the Champions League.

A move to Old Trafford, which would provide a starting spot week-in week-out, may be enticing as a result.

That said, though, the fact that he is currently under contract until the summer of 2029 means that Real Madrid are in position where they need to sell the midfielder.
