This weekend marks the last matchday of the 2025/26 La Liga season, and Real Madrid will play their last game of the season at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Real Madrid will take on Athletic Bilbao, who have a slim chance at earning European football next season, specifically the Europa Conference League.

Regardless of the result tonight, Real Madrid will finish second in the La Liga table this season; they are currently on 83 points. Athletic Bilbao is currently 12th with 45 points and can jump up to 7th with a win today.

Last weekend, Real Madrid took on Sevilla away from home. Real Madrid won the match 1-0 with an early goal from Vinicius Junior.

Athletic Bilbao took on Celta Vigo at home last weekend, and the match ended in a 1-1 draw.

The two teams faced off earlier this season in December at the Estadio de San Mames. Real Madrid won the match 3-0 with two goals from Kylian Mbappe and one goal from Eduardo Camavinga.
