The Champions League is back for the quarterfinals, and one of the most anticipated matches of this stage is Real Madrid vs. Bayern Munich.

The first leg of this matchup will be played tonight at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu in Madrid, Spain.

Real Madrid reached this stage after eliminating Manchester City in the Round of 16, defeating Man City 5-1 on aggregate. Bayern Munich eliminated Atalanta in the Round of 16 to reach the quarterfinals. On aggregate, Bayern defeated Atalanta 10-2 over two legs.

Real Madrid and Bayern Munich last met in the 2023/24 Champions League semifinals, where Real Madrid won 4-3 on aggregate to reach the UCL Final.

Over the weekend, Real Madrid lost 2-1 to Mallorca away from home, which has hindered their chances to win the league title this season.

Bayern Munich were losing 2-0 to Freiburg in the second half, but Bayern completed a late comeback win with two goals from Tom Bischof and a late winner from Lennart Karl.

The first leg will be played tonight, and the second leg will be played next week at the Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany.

The first leg of Real Madrid vs Bayern Munich in the Champions League quarterfinal will kick off at 3 p.m. ET / 12 p.m. PT in the United States. The match will kick off at 9 p.m. local time at the Santiago Bernabeu in Madrid, Spain.

The match will be available to watch in the United States and in other countries across select TV channels and streaming services.
