Hellas Verona are continuing to push for new signings in the final days of the transfer window, reportedly approaching Besiktas for Libya international Moatasem Al-Musrati.

According to Tuttomercatoweb transfer pundit Marco Conterio, the Serie A side are currently in negotiations with Turkish team Besiktas for the midfielder.

They are hoping to get him on loan, which could cost up to €2m, with a possible option to make it permanent at the end of the season.

Verona targeting Al-Musrati next

Al-Musrati flourished in Portugal at Vitoria Guimaraes, Rio Ave and SC Braga before his €11m transfer to Besiktas after an initial loan in 2024.

He was loaned to Ligue 1 team AS Monaco for the last six months of the 2024-25 season, where he made 11 competitive appearances, scoring one goal and providing one assist.

Verona have been very active over the last 24 hours, completing the transfers for defender Armel Bella-Kotchap from Southampton and centre-forward Gift Orban from TSG Hoffenheim.
