Kristjan Asllani could be counting his final days at Inter Milan after the club deemed him surplus to requirements.

According to Sky Sport via FCInterNews , the Albanian is the likeliest midfield candidate to leave San Siro alongside Hakan Calhanoglu.

Davide Frattesi had long been considered a near-certain departure.

However, the narrative changed after Cristian Chivu’s arrival.

Indeed, the 25-year-old is now eager to stay and fight for his place in a new 3-4-2-1 set-up.

Kristjan Asllani Set to Leave Inter Milan

With Frattesi likely to stay, Kristjan Asllani seems destined to make room for a new midfield signing.

Despite joining the club with high expectations, the 23-year-old has never found his footing at San Siro.

Furthermore, he has spent most of his Inter career playing second fiddle to Calhanoglu.

With the 2026 FIFA World Cup fast approaching, Asllani needs regular first-team football.

Therefore, he is open to cutting ties with the Nerazzurri.

Meanwhile, the 20-time Serie A champions are monitoring several players to fill the vacancy.

Palmeiras’ Richard Rios is an option, though the Colombian’s price tag could prove prohibitive.
