Bournemouth forward Antoine Semenyo is edging closer to joining Manchester City, according to the latest reporting from Sky Sports.
The 25-year-old winger's representatives are expected to arrive in Manchester soon to finalize contract terms ahead of an expected £65 million January transfer.
Semenyo's contract contains a £65 million release clause. Any club willing to meet that amount is free to discuss terms with the Ghana international.
That said, time is ticking for the Citizens to get the deal over the line as the forward's release clause is only active from January 1 through January 10.
Though Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham have all expressed interest in acquiring the 6-foot-1 winger, only Manchester City has discussed the release clause.
Semenyo has chipped in nine goals through 17 Premier League matches. He has registered nine goals in 18 contests across all competitions. Since joining Bournemouth in January 2023, he has collected 31 goals in 107 appearances across all competitions.
He is in the 93rd percentile compared to other wingers across Europe's five top leagues (Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga and Ligue 1).
Semenyo has represented Ghana in 32 international matches and has scored three goals for the Black Stars.
