Arsenal reportedly want to rival Inter Milan in the race to sign Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman this summer.

This according to UK tabloid The Sun, via FCInterNews. They report that Atalanta value the Nigerian international at around £45 million, or just over €50 million.

One thing that looks extremely clear is that Ademola Lookman wants to leave Atalanta this summer.

The 27-year-old made a public transfer request. He accused La Dea of breaking a “promise” to sell him this summer.

Furthermore, Lookman has no-showed training for the past few days.

It is also no secret that Lookman wants to join Inter. The player already has an agreement on personal terms with the Nerazzurri, who have had two offers turned down by Atalanta already.

However, Inter are not necessarily the only team to be eyeing up a move for Lookman.

UK tabloid The Sun report that Arsenal are also ready to resume their relatively longstanding interest in the former Leicester City and Fulham forward.

The Sun claim that Atalanta’s asking price for Lookman would be £45 million, or just over €50 million.

Meanwhile, the UK tabloid report that Arsenal would likely have to offload 30-year-old former Brighton & Hove Albion forward Leandro Trossard before moving for Lookman.

The Gunners’ other main target for the left wing would be Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze.
