Ademola Lookman is back in training at Atalanta’s training ground amid his transfer soap opera with Inter Milan.
This according to the Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInter1908.
Yesterday, Atalanta gave their response to Inter’s second offer for Ademola Lookman.
Having already turned down a bid of €40 million for the Nigerian, the Bergamo club also rejected Inter’s second offer of €42 million plus €3 million in add-ons.
This did not go down well with Inter, of course.
But in particular, the response from Atalanta infuriated Lookman, who removed all mention of Atalanta from his social media. Including pictures in an Atalanta kit.
In the meantime, however, Lookman remains an Atalanta player.
The removal of all references and photos in an Atalanta shirt from his social media account was not exactly a subtle gesture by the Nigerian international.
However, Lookman did return to Atalanta’s training ground today.
The 27-year-old is recovering from a calf problem. Therefore, he is not part of the Atalanta squad that faced RB Leipzig in a friendly match.
However, Lookman did train today, as he gets back to fitness from his injury. He is not, as it stands, refusing to show up to training.
