This according to Corriere di Bergamo via FCInterNews. The report states the Nigerian could be out for ‘a couple of weeks.’

Inter and Atalanta have been in talks for the 27-year-old’s transfer to San Siro for days.

Therefore, the Serie A runners-up have entered discussions with La Dea from a position of strength.

Ademola Lookman Sustains Injury During Inter Milan & Atalanta Talks

Lookman has reportedly suffered a calf injury and could spend the next couple of weeks on the sidelines.

Indeed, he felt pain in his left calf during his latest training session.

As such, he could stay in the treatment room for up to three weeks.

However, his physical setback will not affect the ongoing talks between the clubs.

Inter have earmarked Lookman as their top transfer target and will do everything to bring him to San Siro.

Despite their genuine interest, the Nerazzurri have refused to include Francesco Pio Esposito in the deal.
