Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich are reportedly willing to listen to offers for Inter Milan transfer target Joao Palhinha.
According to Tuttosport via FCInterNews, the Bavarians are open to offloading the Portuguese midfielder.
Despite joining the club only last summer, Joao Palhinha could be on his way out in the coming weeks.
Indeed, a year after Bayern Munich paid Fulham €51 million to sign the 30-year-old, they’ve put him on the market.
Palhinha has emerged as a potential replacement for Hakan Calhanoglu.
Despite recent denials, the 31-year-old midfielder could still join Galatasaray.
Therefore, Inter are preparing for every scenario, hence their interest in the ex-Sporting CP star.
Meanwhile, Vincent Kompany’s men cannot realistically expect to recoup their investment.
Indeed, Palhinha’s price has significantly dropped following an underwhelming season at the Allianz Arena.
As such, it would take up to €30m to lure the player away from Munich.
Yet, Inter have other priorities.
Parma’s Giovanni Leoni remains the dream signing, while Cristian Chivu’s men keep close tabs on Lois Openda.
