Inter Milan and Bologna have reportedly begun discussions over Kristjan Asllani as part of recent negotiations for Giovanni Fabbian.
According to Corriere dello Sport via FCInter1908, Inter took the opportunity to offer the Albanian star to the Rossoblu.
Despite refusing to trigger a buyback clause in Fabbian’s deal, Inter could still do business with Bologna.
Indeed, they hope to offload Kristjan Asllani to Stadio Renato Dall’Ara.
However, the player’s wish remains uncertain.
Inter no longer count on Asllani as Cristian Chivu sidelined him from his project.
Therefore, they’re actively searching for suitors.
Although Real Betis showed readiness to sign the 23-year-old, the player refused the move.
Indeed, he found the prospect unappealing, leaving the Nerazzurri in an awkward spot.
Foreign clubs are not exactly ‘mad’ about the former Empoli midfielder after several disappointing seasons.
As such, their best hope is to sell him to a fellow Serie A team.
However, Bologna will not meet Inter’s €18 million asking price, even though they appreciate Asllani’s qualities.
