Bologna are eyeing up a move for Inter Milan midfielder Kristjan Asllani if they’re unable to sign Tommaso Pobega from AC Milan.

This according to today’s print edition of Bologna-based newspaper Corriere di Bologna, via FCInter1908. They also report that Rolando Mandragora and Kristian Thorstvedt are among the Rossoblu’s midfield targets.

Bologna are looking to lock down their midfield this summer.

The Emilian club already look set to keep Giovanni Fabbian. Inter Milan reportedly will not exercise their buyback option on the 23-year-old.

However, one player who could be leaving the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara this summer is Tommaso Pobega.

Bologna Targeting Kristjan Asllani If Tommaso Pobega Isn’t Signed

Pobega spent last season on loan at Bologna from AC Milan.

And the Corriere di Bologna report that the Rossoblu are still working to sign the 25-year-old on a permanent basis. However, they will only do so if the Rossoneri accept a fee of €8 million or less.

Therefore, Bologna are also considering alternative plans in midfield.

One idea would be a move for Inter midfielder Kristjan Asllani, reports the Corriere di Bologna.

Then, Fiorentina’s Rolando Mandragora would be another possible target. Mandragora is a player who coach Vincenzo Italiano trusts from his time as Viola coach, and his contract expires at the end of next June.

Meanwhile, reports the Corriere di Bologna, Bologna could also try to sign Kristian Thorstvedt from newly-promoted Sassuolo.
