Cagliari are reportedly hoping to strike a loan deal to sign Inter Milan striker Sebastiano Esposito this summer.
This according to Caglairi-based newspaper La Nuova Sardegna, via FCInterNews.
Sebastiano Esposito is currently part of Inter Milan’s senior squad once again.
The Italy Under-21 striker had spent last season on loan with Empoli. However, that loan deal came to an end, and the Tuscans did not sign him on a permanent basis.
Therefore, Sebastianio Esposito travelled with the Inter squad to the United States for the Club World Cup. He appeared in all four of their matches at the tournament, starting two.
It looks like virtually a foregone conclusion that Sebastiano Esposito will leave Inter this summer, however.
And there have been a few clubs to show an interest in the 23-year-old.
Fiorentina have certainly been pushing to sign Esposito after he had impressed with their regional rivals Empoli.
However, La Viola are not the only club eyeing up Esposito.
Cagliari have also made a big move for the 23-year-old recently.
And according to Cagliari-based newspaper La Nuova Sardegna, a crucial aspect of negotiations between the clubs could be the structure of the deal.
Cagliari are hoping to sign Esposito on loan. They would rather sign him in this manner than on a permanent deal.
