Report – Chances Growing For Unexpected Departure Of Inter Milan & Turkey Megastar

Hakan Calhanoglu has a decision to make after Galatasaray named the Inter Milan playmaker a top target for the summer.

Per Tuttosport via FCInterNews, chances of the Turkey international’s exit are growing.

After Ilkay Gundogan turned down Galatasaray’s approach, the Turks will likely intensify talks for the 31-year-old.

Despite Inter’s resistance when Bayern Munich knocked on their door last summer, the situation has changed.

Indeed, the Nerazzurri could sell the ex-AC Milan midfielder in the coming weeks.

However, Galatasaray can kiss goodbye to their hopes of landing Hakan Calhanoglu on favorable terms.

Hakan Calhanoglu Edging Closer to Leaving Inter Milan

Calhanoglu’s desire to play in Istanbul has convinced Inter to put him on the market.

Yet, the skilled playmaker won’t go cheap, with the Nerazzurri insisting on a €25-30 million asking price.

Therefore, Galatasaray must either meet Inter’s demands or pursue other targets.

Meanwhile, Cristian Chivu’s tactical change has compromised Calhanoglu’s place in the starting line-up.

Indeed, it could be increasingly difficult for the Turk to find his place in a new 3-4-2-1 set-up.

As such, a summer exit looks probable.

Calhanoglu’s departure would force Inter’s hand, with Nicolo Rovella and Ederson emerging as the Turk’s potential replacements.
