Tottenham Hotspur defender Destiny Udogie is reportedly a target for AC Milan as they look to replace Theo Hernandez during the summer transfer window.

The French International defender is expected to move to Saudi Arabia, and Milan are looking to bring in a quality alternative. They have identified the 22-year-old Tottenham defender as a target.

It will be interesting to see if the Italian defender can replace Hernandez, who is hugely experienced and has won major trophies like the UEFA Champions League with Real Madrid in the past.

Destiny Udogie is a top talent

Udogie has done well in the Premier League, and he has the ability to develop into a top-class full-back in future. It will be interesting to see if Milan can bring him back to Italy. The opportunity to return to his homeland could be quite exciting for the player. Milan are one of the biggest clubs in Italy, and they could be a tempting destination for the player.

Meanwhile, the report from Fichajes claims that Milan are looking at other options as well, but Udogie ‘tops the list’ for them. The Tottenham defender is likely to cost around €50 million. It remains to be seen whether Milan are ready to pay.

The defender has been linked with Manchester City as well.

Tottenham must keep their key players

Tottenham have secured Champions League qualification for the next season, and they will look to build a formidable squad capable of fighting for trophies. Losing a key player like Udogie would be a blow for them. It remains to be seen whether they are prepared to sanction his departure.

Tottenham are expected to sort out their managerial situation first. Ange Postecoglou could be shown the door in the coming weeks, and they have been linked with multiple managers. It will be interesting to see who comes to replace the Australian.

Meanwhile, Cristian Romero has been linked with a move away from Tottenham as well. Atletico Madrid want to sign the World Cup winner, and it seems unlikely that Tottenham will let two of their first-choice defenders leave in one window. It will be a very difficult move to complete.
