Feyenoord have reportedly begun searching for a replacement for Inter Milan transfer target David Hancko.

According to TWM via FCInterNews, the 27-year-old is on the verge of leaving De Kuip after three years.

David Hancko has recently emerged as a defensive target for Inter.

However, Juventus are among the long-term admirers and could spoil Nerazzurri’s plans to sign the Slovakian.

Meanwhile, Feyenoord seem to have accepted the versatile defender’s imminent departure.

Feyenoord Open Search for David Hancko Heir Amid Inter Milan Interest

Hancko is not Inter’s top target, though he is among the club’s considered options for defensive reinforcements.

Indeed, Parma wonderkid Giovanni Leoni remains Inter’s top priority.

Yet, the 18-year-old’s price tag is outside Inter’s reach, with Parma holding out for a €40 million asking price.

Therefore, the San Siro giants are keeping all other alternatives open, including Hancko.

Meanwhile, the Dutch heavyweights have identified Valentin Gomez as Hancko’s replacement.

Feyenoord’s search for a new defender suggests they are preparing for the Slovakian’s summer departure.

As for Inter, this could be an encouraging sign.
