Inter Milan starlet Sebastiano Esposito has emerged as a potential target for Fiorentina now that Albert Gudmundsson could leave Tuscany.

Per Sky Sport via FCInterNews, La Viola consider the 22-year-old as the Iceland international’s heir in Florence.

Formerly linked with Inter, Albert Gudmundsson could depart Stadio Artemio Franchi after just one season.

Indeed, the 28-year-old has attracted Everton’s interest and could soon be on his way to the Premier League.

Therefore, Stefano Pioli’s charges are in the market for a new center-forward.

Fiorentina Identify Inter Milan ace Sebastiano Esposito as Albert Gudmundsson Heir

Despite Empoli’s relegation to Serie B, Sebastiano Esposito enjoyed an impressive 2024/25 season.

Indeed, he racked up eight goals and one assist in 33 league appearances for the Azzurri.

Though the numbers may not be overwhelming, it’s worth noting that Empoli finished the season as the fourth-worst scorers.

Esposito’s nine strikes were almost a quarter of Empoli’s scoring tally in Serie A last term.

As such, his services are in high demand, with Inter reportedly willing to listen to offers.

Moreover, the Nerazzurri would let Esposito leave for an offer in the region of €12 million.
