Serie A rivals Fiorentina and Inter Milan are reportedly in talks for out-of-favor midfielder Kristjan Asllani.
According to Tuttosport via FCInterNews, La Viola are piecing together a formal offer for the Albanian star.
Kristjan Asllani has no place in Cristian Chivu’s project after three miserable seasons at San Siro.
Therefore, the Serie A runners-up have put their underachieving playmaker up for sale.
After Real Betis’ failed attempt to lure Asllani to La Liga, Fiorentina have emerged as the likeliest destination.
Despite being put on the chopping block, Kristjan Asllani will only leave the club for the right price.
Indeed, Chivu’s charges have set an €18 million price tag for their unsettled midfielder.
In addition to Asllani, Inter are working on offloading Aleksandar Stankovic.
Though they’ve already accepted Club Brugge’s €10m bid, the clubs cannot agree on a buyback clause.
As such, Stankovic may not move to the Jan Breydel Stadium.
Furthermore, he could stay in Italy, with Sassuolo reportedly looking to hijack the Belgian outfit’s pursuit of the 19-year-old.
