Fulham are the latest club to join the race for Inter forward Mehdi Taremi, as reports from Iran claim that a deal could be wrapped up in a matter of days if the striker accepts a reduction in salary.
According to Iranian journalist Hatam Shiralizadeh, via CalcioMercato, Fulham are interested in signing the Inter forward, amid rumours that Rodrigo Muniz could be leaving the London club to join Atalanta.
The reports claim that if Taremi accepts a cut in his current €3 million per season salary, Fulham are interested in bringing him to the English capital.
Taremi has already had offers to leave Inter this summer, with Brazilian sides Flamengo and Botafogo being rejected by the Iranian earlier in the summer. The former Porto man reportedly wants to stay in Europe and would be open to an experience playing in the Premier League.
Fulham are not the only club from England interested in Taremi, however, with newly promoted Leeds United also being touted as a possible destination. Leeds are also in the running to sign Muniz and therefore we can expect transfer dominoes to fall.
