Report: Harry Kane to demand transfer if Tottenham fails to qualify for the Champions League

Harry Kane will reportedly demand a transfer from Tottenham Hotspur if they fail to qualify for the Champions League, according to The Athletic's Oliver Kay and Jack Pitt-Brooke.

A move may not be possible, though. The Spurs reportedly have no intention of selling Kane, who has three years remaining on his contract. Even if they did decide to sell him, Tottenham's asking price would reportedly be above the £100 million mark.

Manchester City and Manchester United reportedly view Kane as an alternative to Borussia Dortmund's Erling Haaland, who is very much available.

According to Kay and Pitt-Brooke, Kane would prefer to remain in England but would consider a move abroad. It's unclear how much teams would be willing to pay for the 27-year-old.

Although Kane wants to potentially move on from Tottenham, he has good relationships with Daniel Levy and manager Jose Mourinho.

Kane has spent the last nine seasons with Tottenham, scoring 162 goals in 220 starts. Tottenham missed out on the Champions League last year after qualifying for four straight seasons.
