Inter Milan coach Cristian Chivu is reluctant to sanction summer sales of Francesco Pio Esposito and Valentin Carboni.

Per Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, there’s a genuine possibility for both youngsters to stay at the San Siro.

Despite continuous speculation linking both young guns with immediate departures, Cristian Chivu has other plans.

Indeed, he intends to keep hold of the prodigious forwards, even though Inter could make a small fortune from their exits.

Combined, they are worth around €50 million. However, an outright sale is not on the cards.

Inter Milan Boss Cristian Chivu Set to Keep Francesco Pio Esposito & Valentin Carboni

Wanted by half of Serie A, Francesco Pio Esposito would command a transfer fee of around €30m.

Yet, Chivu holds the 19-year-old in high esteem and could include him in his plans for next season.

Otherwise, Inter would only allow him to leave on loan.

The same goes for Valentin Carboni, who scored a winning goal against Urawa Reds last week.

Valued at around €20m, the Argentine is among the highest ranted up-and-comers in world football.

Therefore, the Nerazzurri will carefully evaluate his future.
