Inter Milan reportedly remain committed to completing a massive double swoop for Ademola Lookman and Giovanni Leoni.

According to Alfredo Pedulla via FCInter1908, the Atalanta forward is the immediate priority.

Indeed, talks between the clubs are underway after Ademola Lookman agreed to join the Nerazzurri.

However, Atalanta’s €50 million asking price remains a roadblock, with Inter offering €40m.

Nonetheless, negotiations continue as Cristian Chivu’s men aim to close the deal within ten days.

Inter Milan Plot Double Swoop for Ademola Lookman & Giovanni Leoni

Inter intend to finalize the agreement with Atalanta as soon as possible.

Otherwise, they will turn to other targets, with Juventus’ Nicolas Gonzalez emerging as the top alternative.

Meanwhile, the Nerazzurri will shift their focus to Giovanni Leoni only after concluding talks for Lookman.

Indeed, the 18-year-old sits at the top of Beppe Marotta’s shopping list despite his hefty price tag.

Aware of Leoni’s potential, Parma won’t sanction his departure for less than €40m.

On the other hand, Inter will try to drive the price down by offering Sebastiano Esposito as a makeweight.
