Inter Milan have reportedly lowered their claims for Galatasaray target Hakan Calhanoglu while keeping tabs on Ederson.

Per Sportitalia via FCInter1908, the Italian giants are no longer holding out for their initial €40 million asking price.

Instead, Inter Milan would settle for around €32m.

However, that’s still far more than what Galatasaray are ready to offer.

Indeed, the Turks have allocated a mere €15m despite the overwhelming desire to sign the 31-year-old.

Inter Milan Lower Demands for Hakan Calhanoglu Amid Ederson Pursuit

Hakan Calhanoglu has yet to reveal his intentions.

But there’s a feeling that he favors a move to Istanbul despite his indispensable status at San Siro.

With that in mind, Inter have already found a potential replacement in Atalanta midfielder Ederson.

However, the Brazilian comes with a hefty price tag, with La Dea demanding around €60m to cut him loose.

Therefore, Inter cannot agree to Galatasaray’s terms and will continue to insist on their valuation.

In any case, the duo’s futures intertwine.

Indeed, Ederson’s arrival would be nearly impossible without Calhanoglu’s departure.
