Inter Milan striker Sebastiano Esposito is far from joining Fiorentina, as the two clubs remain far apart in their valuations.
Per Corriere dello Sport via FCInterNews, La Viola will not meet Inter’s asking price by any stretch of the imagination.
Indeed, the San Siro giants have slapped a €12 million price tag on the 23-year-old’s shoulders.
Furthermore, they’re eager to sell Sebastiano Esposito as they need to raise funds for further signings.
However, Fiorentina’s reluctance to match Inter’s request could sink the deal.
Despite showing a genuine interest in the former Empoli loanee, Fiorentina won’t go beyond €6m to secure his signature.
Yet, that’s merely half of what Inter expect to earn from Esposito’s seemingly inevitable departure.
Therefore, the deal is in jeopardy, with La Viola still concerned about losing Moise Kean.
While talks between the clubs remain on stand-by, Esposito continues to draw inquiries across Serie A.
Indeed, perennial strugglers Cagliari have recently joined the race for the Italian star, hoping to sign him on loan.
